Product information "Calibration in accordance to EN 15518-3/EN15518-4"
Calibration of sonic anemometer in accordance to EN 15518-4, consisting of two separate tests.
Accredited calibration of the flow speed response of one anemometer.
The device under test (DUT) is mounted perpendicular to the flow in the test section of the wind tunnel. The predefined orientation is aligned with the flow centerline. For each pre-defined test point according to EN15518-3, the wind tunnel is set to a fixed air velocity. After an appropriate stabilization period, the DUT and reference air velocities are sampled simultaneously for at least 10 minutes, averaged, and reported. A conformity assessment in accordance to the EN 15518-4 and ILAC G8 is carried out and recorded in the calibration certificate.
Accredited calibration of the yaw response of one anemometer.
The device under test (DUT) is mounted perpendicular to the flow in the test section of the wind tunnel. The DUT orientation reference mark (north mark) is aligned with the flow centerline. The wind tunnel is set to a fixed air velocity, after a suitable stabilization period, the DUT is rotated stepwise by 30° and measured for at least 30 seconds. Once the rotation is complete, the DUT reading and the reference angle are averaged and reported. A conformity assessment in accordance to the EN 15518-4 and ILAC G8 is carried out and recorded in the calibration certificate.
DAkkS / ILAC accredited calibration laboratory according to ISO-17025:2018
