Product information "Tilt response calibration, IEC 61400-50-1:2022, previously IEC 61400-12-1:2017"
The procedure for the calibration of tilt response is in accordance to IEC 61400-50-1:2022, previously IEC 61400-12-1:2017. The wind sensor is slowly tilted between -30° and 30° at a fixed wind speed of approx. 8 m/s and a fixed yaw angle. The benefit of a continuous tilting is that the response of the sensor at any angle is considered. Therefore, with this approach, surprises from a non-evaluated angle can be avoided.

Additional parameters may be specified by the client in agreement with WindGuard.
